No. A police check cannot be used for multiple different reasons or jobs.
For example, a police check conducted for the purpose of working in a school as a painter, cannot later be used to apply for a job as an administration assistant. This is because the check purpose as outlined in your police check application (the job title, place of work, and check category) may impact the amount and type of information released against your result, in line with the spent legislation and information release policies that apply.
A police check is considered a 'point in time' check. This means that at one point, you can receive a NDCO (no disclosable court outcome) result, but the next day you can be charged or convicted of a crime. The police check is then unsuitable to be re-used, as the charge or conviction will not be captured on the police check result.
