Invite from SEEK
SEEK sends job seekers an email invite to verify their Right to Work on Certsy. Clicking the invite navigates the job seeker to the Certsy landing page.
Certsy verification
After creating an account on Certsy, the job seeker can start a Right to Work verification. The job seeker provides basic personal details, as well as the details and an image of a government-issued document. The document and personal details provided are reconciled against a relevant database, authority or as otherwise prescribed to determine the Right to Work verification result.
Sharing on SEEK
Once a job seeker has verified their Right to Work information on Certsy, they can share the result on SEEK. To share on SEEK, a link is created between Certsy and the job seeker’s SEEK account.
Which employers can view verified results
Once shared, a job seeker’s Certsy verified Right to Work result will appear on any subsequent job application provided that:
● The job seeker’s verified result matches their stated answer to the Right to Work Role Requirement question
● The job seeker’s verified result matches the employers Right to Work Role Requirement criteria.
Currently, a Certsy verified Right to Work result will only appear for employers who use the SEEK Advertisement Centre, and have selected the Right to Work Role Requirement question for their job advertisement.
How verified candidates appear to employers
A verified Right to Work result will appear on the SEEK Candidate Management Centre as part of a job seeker’s job application, provided all required criteria is met. The result will be displayed above the job seeker’s stated answers to other Role Requirement questions. A verified Right to Work result will appear with a prominent purple Certsy super tick.
