This is a service provided by Certsy that enables job seekers to verify they hold a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check certificate that was issued in the past 12 months.
Employers on SEEK will see your verified result when you apply for a job and meet their Recent Police Check criteria. With your permission, they will be able to see your:
- Certsy verified status
- name as it appears on your police check certificate
- police check type (employment or volunteer)
- police check date of issue
- police check provider
- verification date
In doing so, Certsy helps you to stand out to employers during the shortlisting process while, at the same time, enabling employers to see which job seekers best suit their requirements for a role.
To verify your Recent Police Check, you will need to create a Certsy account and provide your Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check certificate that was issued in the past 12 months.
Rest assured that your check result will not be shared i.e. disclosable court outcomes or no disclosable court outcomes. Certsy will never share your results or underlying information without your consent. You are always in control of who your result is shared with, and you can manage this through your Certsy account settings.
